Being Featured on BFM My Merdeka: Episode 5

We were recently invited to BFM89.90, the only business radio station in Malaysia.

August 31 is the Independence Day of Malaysia. With this, BFM featured a Merdeka series, In Search of Entrepreneurship Independence.

We were hosted by Freda Liu from BFM, along with Bookyboo and Ficus Venture Capital.

We feel truly honoured to be able to share what independence means to us, in our journey to build a world class brand right here in our beloved home country, Malaysia, Tanahairku.

About Ciinndey Wong

Ciinndey Wong has been in the health and wellness industry ever since 2006. A series of health crisis led her to want to do something about her life, and make a complete change. She ventured into the industry, wanting to help people with better health. However, she still felt unfulfilled. She was frustrated with the lack of caffeine free and sugar free hot beverages in the market. This was when she decided to establish Rhymba Hills Tea in 2014. Rhymba Hills Tea is proudly JAKIM Halal certified, boasting only 100% Malaysian natural herbal infusions, which allows our Muslim friends to consume with confidence. To date, Rhymba Hills Tea has sold more than 1 million sachets, both locally and globally. Ciinndey has appeared in both local and overseas media, advocating that 100% Malaysian natural herbal infusion can be tasty and healthy. She is very passionate about the industry, having travelled globally to attend food and beverage conferences and exhibitions, to be updated with industry knowledge. In her former life, Ciinndey was a bean counter at one of the Big 4 auditing firms. Ciinndey is passionate about education, having donate part of the sales proceeds to charity every month. During her free time, she enjoys taking walks in parks.
